1.Introduction
The instrument is used for the air permeability test of special industrial fabrics, general fabrics, knit goods, non-woven fabrics, and industrial filter paper etc. The instrument performance is compliant with the GB/T545397 Fabric Permeability determination and other requirements of national standards for test instruments. With digit display, digital test parameter setting and a highly accurate sensor adopted instead of traditional water column
pressure difference test method, and with a microcomputer for test data computation in stead of manual conversion, the instrument is easy in operation and has a high accuracy and efficiency.

3.Construction
Externally, the instrument consists of support frame, specimen fastening device, flow volume meter, display panel etc. and internally of pressure sensor, CPU data processor, induced draft machine, feedback adjustment device etc.
3.1 The support frame, made by the direct punch forming of sheet steel and sprayed with plastic, is firm, light-weighted and attractive as well as corrosion resistant and cleanable.
3.2 The operation of the specimen fastening device is effected by a pressing handle under the operating table controlling the up-and-down motion of the specimen pressing head through a crankshaft toothed wheel lever mechanism. The specimen is closely pressed by the enough pressing force from the fastening device and the floating joint between the pressing head and the fulcrum shaft.
3.3 The flow volume measuring cylinder, made of seamless steel pipe welded,is durable and firm. With a door and door lock, the airtightness and easy replacement of nozzles are guaranteed.
