It is used to measure the MFR/MVR value of the melt flow rate of various plastics and resins through a standard die every 10 minutes when they pass through a certain temperature and load in the viscous flow state.

It is suitable for engineering plastics such as polycarbonate, polyarylsulfone, fluoroplastics, and nylon with higher melting temperatures.
